5 reasons why you should never drink sodas, this should be shared

At this point in time, you're probably tired of knowing that soda is too bad. Without any dietary value, this sugary water fattens, leads to obesity, cancer and diabetes, as well as several other diseases that do not receive much attention in health discussions, but which we show in this article, hoping to take you to natural juices, teas and other healthy drinks. See below:

1. Accelerated aging

Whether it's normal, diet, light or zero, it does not matter, ALL soft drinks contain phosphate, or phosphoric acid, a substance that gives the drink its typical flavor and increases its life time. In excess it can lead to heart and kidney problems, muscle loss and osteoporosis. More than that, one study has proven to cause premature and accelerated aging.
Research has shown that phosphate levels have caused laboratory mice to die five weeks earlier than others whose diet had normal levels of the substance.

2. May cause cancer

The Science Center for Public Interest asked the US Food and Drug Administration to ban the artificial caramel dye used in the manufacture of Coca-Cola, Pepsi and other brown drinks. The reason was that two contaminants in staining, 2-methylimidazole and 4-methylimidazole, caused cancer in animals. According to a list of 65 chemicals known to cause cancer, 16 micrograms of 4-methylimidazole per day is enough to pose a cancer threat. And be aware: any soft drink (normal, diet, zero) contains 200 micrograms per 570 ml.

3. It rots teeth and causes neurological problems

North American dentists have named it a soda for a disease they watch in huge numbers of children who drink it - "Boca Mountain Dew." Children end up with a mouth full of cavities caused by excess sugar levels. In addition, an ingredient called brominated vegetable oil, used by manufacturers to prevent aroma from separating from the beverage, is a chemical used as a flame retardant in plastics. The chemical has been known to cause memory disorders and nerve loss when consumed in large quantities.

4. Toxic Cans

But it's not just the soda itself that causes problems. The aluminum cans where they are packaged are coated with a resin called bisphenol (BPA), used to prevent the acids in the refrigerant from reacting with the metal. BPA hampers hormones and has been linked to everything from infertility and obesity to some forms of cancer. And while Pepsi and Coca-Cola are involved in a war to see which one will be the first to create a 100% plastic bottle based on plants they advertise as "no BPA," no company is willing to take away the substance of aluminum cans.

5. Water pollution

The artificial sweeteners used in diet sodas do not break down in our bodies, nor can waste water treatment separate them before they contaminate the waterways. In 2009, Swiss scientists tested samples of treated water, rivers and lakes in Switzerland and detected levels of acesulfame K, sucralose and saccharin in all substances used in diet sodas. A recent test in municipal water reservoirs in the United States also revealed the presence of sucralose in all of them, which in addition to doing harm to humans, interferes with the eating habits of many organisms.
